The Academy is located at Christchurch, the second
largest city in New Zealand, and the largest in New Zealand's South
Island.
Meandering rivers, tree-lined avenues, numerous parks and gardens, and
friendly people are aspects that contribute to Christchurch being rated
among the "Top 10 Tourist Cities in The World" (Travel and
Leisure Magazine).
Cafes and restaurants cater for a variety of ethnic
tastes.
Christchurch has easy access to beaches, golf courses,
ski and snowboard fields, diving, white water rafting, sporting and
many other recreation activities. Christchurch has two Universities,
a College of Education, and numerous English Language schools.
