Our Courses

The Academy

The Academy's courses are designed to not only allow students to meet the requirements and skill level necessary for the relevant pilot licence, but also to meet the requirements of future employers.

The indicated flying hours are a minimum requirement. They are an approximate estimation and are based on competency.

Both the NZ Diploma in Aviation and the CPL/MEIR training scheme will lead you to a career as a commercial pilot. Domestic students usually enrol into the NZ Diploma in Aviation as it allows eligible domestic students to tip into students loans and allowances in oppose to the CPL/MEIR training scheme which is a self-funded programme.

  • NZ Diploma in Aviation Level 5 ‐ General Aviation (limited Student Loan funding available)
  • NZ Diploma in Aviation Level 6 ‐ Airline Preparation (limited Student Loan funding available)
